I don’t even know where to begin with talking about this trip.  It was just awesome.  Boston is a great city, and God did work in and through our family.  So, I’m gonna list some of my favorite serious/not-as-serious things about the trip:

• Seeing a guy with a tux and a Fu-Manchu the first day we were there.
• Having God show me some stuff that I haven’t dealt with, but finally letting go to let work be done.
• Getting to kick it with some of my best friends in the world.
• Hangin out and reading at Boston Common Coffee (Organic African Nectar Tea is legit).
• Good conversations with good friends.
• Getting to lead worship every night with a couple of my best bro’s.
• UFood
• Watching people get plugged in to community.
• Fish and Chips at Tommy Doyle’s Pub.
• Walking or taking the T anywhere I went.
• Getting free milk and cookies twice in one day (one of the better days ever, not just because of that, but that was a big part of it)
• Conversations on long rides to and from Boston.
• Cook Out in NC 2 meals in a row.
• New friends and family.
• Meeting a dude working on a full sleeve inspired by the Goonies.

I could keep going, but Anchorman is on, and I’m going to watch that now.  All in all, it was a great trip, I had a great time, and Boston may be at the top of my list of favorite cities now.
